Simplifi Contact - Yealink Cordless Phone and Base Setup

This article walks through how to unbox and connect your new Yealink cordless phone and base station.

 

 

  1. Plug in your cordless handset charging dock to power

 

    1. Place your cordless handset on the charging dock to charge battery
  1. Connect your base station to your sources of power and internet
    1. Use the provided power cord to connect your base station to your source of power
    2. Use the provided ethernet cord to connect your base station to your source of internet

  2. Check the base station's indicator light to ensure your base is connected to power, connected to the internet and a handset is paired.
    1. The indicator lights for No. 2, 3 and 4 must all be solid green to confirm connection.
  3. When all base station indicator lights are solid green, you should be all set to start using your device when your Simplifi Contact account is is activated

NOTE:

All devices purchased from Simplifi will come pre-provisioned to it's designated user/extension for a plug and play experience. All you have to do is plug into a power source, connect to the internet to start utilizing when your account is activated.If your device was not ordered through Simplifi, you will need to provision it for service using the instructions found in our article Simplifi Contact - Auto Provision a Yealink Desk Phone

WARNING:

If you are having an issue with your phone, please reach out to support@simplifi.io for assistance. Do NOT factory reset your handset or base without first consulting with Simplifi. Resetting the devices will remove the Simplifi provisioning and will require you to re-configure the devices
