Simplifi Contact (Scout) - Why do I receive a error message saying my call is not covered by your Tariff plan?

In the event you try to make a outgoing call using your phone's contacts you may receive the above error code.  To resolve this, please follow below steps. 
* This is due to the contacts in your phone having the "–" in between the numbers as opposedto all numbers

1. Unregister, your account
2.  Add the “-“ to the “strip dial characters” section in the “number rewriting” section found in the “additional settings” portion of the account.  
3. Re-register your account
