How Do I Add An Additional Handset To My Yealink W60 Base

Adding an additional Yealink W56H or W53H handset to your W60P base station. You may add up to 8 total handsets per base.

  1. From a computer on the same network as you VoIP phone, log into the phone's Web GUI:
    1. Obtain the IP address of the base station you are adding a handset to.
      1. Click the round OK button on a handset that is paired to the base
      2. Click Status > Base
      3. Note the IPv4: __________________
    2. Enter the IP address into your computer browser to access the phone's GUI.
    3. When prompted, enter the default Username & Password.
      1. Username: admin
      2. Password: admin
  2. Navigate to the Account tab.
    1. Select Register on the left hand side of the screen
    2. Select Account 2 from the drop down menu at the top of the screen
      1. Fill in the following fields (provided by Simplifi, or see the Tip below):
        1. Line Active = Enabled
        2. Label: ________ (Your choice.  This will be displayed on the handset screen)
        3. Register name: ________ (same as Username below)
        4. Username: ________
        5. Password: ________
        6. SIP Server 1
          1. Server Host: - Port = 0
          2. Transport = DNS NAPTR
          3. Server Expires = 360
          4. Server Retry counts = 3
        7. SIP Server 2
          1. Server Host = *leave blank* - Port: 5060
          2. Transport = UDP
          3. Server Expires: 3600
          4. Server Retry Counts: 3
        8. Enable Outbound Proxy Server = Disabled
        9. Outbound Proxy Server 1: *leave blank* - Port: 5060
        10. Outbound Proxy Server 2: *leave blank* - Port: 5060
        11. Proxy Fallback Interval : 3600
        12. NAT = Disabled
      2. Select Confirm at the bottom of the screen
  3. Select Number Assignment from the left hand side of the screen
    1. Make sure the Handset No. matches the Line No. and Name
    2. Select confirm at the bottom of the page
  4. Register the handset to the base station
    1. Press and hold the paging button on the base station (looks like a WiFi symbol) until the phone LED (top LED) on the base station starts flashing.
    2. On the handset, wake it up then press the Reg. button.


You can find the SIP credentials for step 2.b.i. by logging into Simplifi Core and navigating to VOIP > Devices, then clicking on the applicable BYOD-FTP handset. 

The Realm (server host), Username and Password are shown in the SIP section of the page.
